The common thread boils down to this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 the larger health insurers have one or more supplementary policies with scope for reimbursement of \u201calternative medicine\u201d<br>\u2013 the total reimbursement available per year increases with more expensive policies<br>\u2013 often a registered doctor is mentioned as a requirement<br>\u2013 medicines are in principle excluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means that if clients have the correct supplementary policy and have not already drawn up their reimbursement allowance, they can probably count on reimbursement of the costs for consultation and faecal analysis (with the exception of ONVZ), and not for medicine costs. The overview per insurer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CZ with \u201cadditional 5\u201d: &nbsp;\u20ac250 per year for alternative and\/or psychosocial treatments (\u20ac25 per day) and medicines (100%) together<br>Silver cross with \u201cadditional 2 stars\u201d or higher: a maximum of \u20ac 40 per day to \u20ac 250 per calendar year for alternative care such as orthomolecular treatment<br>Menzis with \u201cextra care&nbsp;2\u201d or higher: Maximum of \u20ac400 per calendar year (\u20ac40 per day for treatments, 100% for medicines) for alternative care<br>VGZ with \u201cAdditional Good\u201d or higher: Alternative care: \u20ac200 per year, maximum \u20ac40 per day<br>DSW with \u201cAV Compact\u201d or higher: reimbursement for a doctor\u2019s consultation in naturopathy, a maximum of \u20ac25 per treatment date, a maximum of \u20ac250 per calendar year<br>Zorg en Zekerheid with \u201cAV-sure\u201d or higher: reimbursement of treatment by a naturopathic or orthomolecular doctor, a maximum of \u20ac250 per calendar year, consisting of a maximum of \u20ac25 per day for treatments or 50% reimbursement for medicines<br>ASR with \u201cStart\u201d or higher: reimbursement for treatment by a doctor, up to a maximum of \u20ac100 per calendar year (higher supplement = higher total amount)<br>ONVZ with \u201cStartfit\u201d or higher: reimbursement of alternative medicine by a doctor, ie consultations and treatments aimed at (curing) a condition. No lab costs. Higher supplement = also reimbursement for registered medicines and a higher total amount.<br>Ditzo, Anderzorg, Hema, Interpolis and Just do not reimburse alternative medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NB.
